Limpia Limpia is a Hip-Hop Education Project that will address issues concerning oppression and freedom through the eyes of native/indigenous peoples. In English, Limpia means clean. It generally describes a type of cleanse or ceremony. The repeating of the word Limpia twice emphasizes the importance of cleaning and states it as a command. Limpia Limpia!!! We are asking listeners to clean. Clean minds, bodies, and spirits. Clean homes, streets, and communities. We request this of the listener because it requires action and that is what the project is intended to inspire. The project currently features collaborations with many talented artists, some of which are featured in the trailer. A new music video will be released every full moon until the album's release. So, definitely mark your calendars and stay tuned for more updates!
